For more than 2,000 years, acupuncture has been used to treat many medical conditions.  It is a widely accepted method in the Asia and Europe, and is gaining more proponents in the United States. Acupuncture seeks to encourage the body to heal by stimulating certain areas with very fine needles. Typically, acupuncture is used to treat chronic headaches, low back pain, tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome and other common illnesses.
